After seeing these ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of Diezani, I shuddered.
I wouldn’t wish this for anyone, not even my enemies! My prayers are definitely with her and her loved ones as the Lord lays His healing hands on her.
But I must say, that even in sickness, the woman fine like that.
This is also a wake up call for we mortals, that no matter how rich you think you are, there are still some things money can’t buy… Health and Salvation.
We need to spend more time acquiring values that will help in enriching our spiritual lives. No point amassing unnecessary wealth, it doesn’t make your transition from this part of the world to the next easier.
On a last note… We are all going to die one day, so what are we doing now that will make a significant difference in not just your life but the lives of others? This is a question we must continually ask ourselves.
Have a blessed week.
This is really sad…the devil is on rampage!
Sam Sarpong, aged 40, host of Yo Momma! committed suicide by jumping off a bridge on Monday, 26th of October.
My question is… Why?? Why would anyone want to to take his or her life, especially when they are at their lowest?! That’s accepting defeat in whatever challenges you are going through!
Sam seemed to have everything going for him… He could literally pay his bills! How come the signs are always missed?
Hollywood should start doing a routine periodic mental checks on their stars, really… We can’t afford to lose more people!
May God be with his family in this difficult time. And may God grant us better ways of dealing with out problems other than suicide!
Devil, you are a liar…you have no dominion over our lives in Jesus name. Amen.
I’m not sure if it’s me or my wild imagination… Has anyone noticed that most Nigerian politicians are always dying of one ailment or the other that doesn’t have cure?!
In recent times, Alamaieyeseigha, Dora Akinyuli, President Yaradua, Mariam Babangida, Aunty Clara Oshiomole, just to mention a few, all died of one ailment or the other especially from cancer! Now Big Aunty Diezani is claiming she has cancer…cancer of what Biko?! I just hope she’s not trying to play a fast ‘Diepreye’ on us!
Please, I’m just thinking out loud… I just want to make sure it’s not Politico – spiritually related. And why aren’t other foreign government officers dying like fowl?! #justasking *situation needs to be examined closely
My heart goes out to the family of late Miss Oluchi Anekwe, who died after been electrocuted by a high tension wire in front of her UNILAG hostel yesterday.
I’m deeply saddened for a number of reasons: the fact that she was a First Class Accounting student (which parent would want to lose that kind of child), the fact that this is a clear exposure of our messed up system. What business does a high tension wire have ‘leaving’ it’s normal position?! How many lives do we have to lose before things are done properly?
Finally, as much as I’m a fully educated person, a seasoned scientist, I can’t help but look at the spiritual aspect of things. One really needs to examine the peculiarities surrounding this incidence. Some one with a lot of evil (maybe family or friend) might have a hand in this. I mean, check it now…many evil human beings have been passing that same spot, nothing happened to them. It just had to be Oluchi, a First Class student, a good child, godly one… Check it now! Mba! It’s an ‘arrow’ …
Let’s be more prayerful, for our children, in short family because we have entered ‘mber’ month…evil people are on the move.
Please, family and friends, accept my heartfelt sympathy. We will also not question God.
This gist is old I know, but should act as a reminder to parents who choose to torture their children in the name of punishments. For all you know that punishment could end up being fatal. Once a life is gone, it can’t be taken back.
This 5 year old was killed by her father and step-mother (wicked witch) by making her drink about 2.4litres of grape soda in less than 2 hours! This is more than what an average adult would consume in a day, not even soda, water!!
What was her crime? Just because she ‘stole’ some of the soda!
The poor girl suffered massive seizures, after urinating and vomiting on herself. The fluid caused her brain to swell and herniate (please check your dictionary).
End result of all these…she died. Anyways, the couple have been sentenced to 35 years imprisonment! As far as I am concerned, it’s not enough. Life imprisonment would have made more sense.
My advice? Parents need to control their temper better. It’s best not to punish your child when you’re most upset or else you may end up regretting your actions. Just walk away from that child or ask the child to leave your presence until you are much calmer. Then revisit the issue or the problem child.
May her gentle soul rest in peace . Amen.
I hope we’ve all learnt.
Great day ahead.
