I respect the typical African woman. They are part of the reason I love being not only African but proudly Nigerian!
I mean, what could be better than the creative hairstyles they do…they sure know how to wear ’em hair. It has to be in the black blood…that uniqueness.
As much as I do admire these crazy hairdos, realistically, I ask myself “Would I wear it?”
I remember growing up and how my mum would take time to thread my natural ‘Afro’. She never ran out styles… Talk about being creative!
It’s funny how these weird Afro-Nigerian styles are back in full swing, and a lot of ladies are now wearing these ‘rejected’ hairdos!
Stephanie Linus recently premiered her movie, ‘Dry’, at the Silverbird Galleria on Sunday, which was attended by 2 of Nollywood’s favorite stars, Genevieve Nnaji and Rita Dominic.
These 2 women are ‘famous’ for ‘fracturing’ necks of men, but I must admit that lately, Rita has taken her shine to another level. The rate at which she’s shining these days, I’m definite she must be in a relationship! I know a woman doesn’t need to be with a man to look good, but there’s this glow that comes with been in a relationship…omo forget!
In the past, Genevieve used to shine, but I don’t understand what’s going on?…Rita is just not agreeing!
Anyways, this is what they wore at the premiere. So you tell me whose look you prefer.
is can be good, especially when applied properly and in the right shade.
There are just some women that just remind you that, foundation can be a ‘frenemy’!
Even with all the ‘equipment’ used, the foundation just doesn’t sit properly on some people’s face. Some ladies actually go out of their way to apply so much that when they sweat, the foundation sort of ‘cakes’ in certain areas of the face! Uuugh!
Because of these reasons, I won’t lie, I rarely use foundation except on special occasions, which in fact is rare! (I’ll tell you my beauty secret later)
If you know you do commit these blunders, please pack up your pride and seek the consult of a professional cosmetologist!
Please, stop making me hate foundation, please! *Begging on bended knees*
Say what you think…Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.
I dunno…not really feeling the whole thing. I don’t think it was all put together…the colour block is much!
She’s definitely a fine girl. I love the blouse, well tailored and designed and even goes well with the velvet wrap (George).
That colour of ‘gele’ though…on top of white shoes…most definitely a No!No!
But Hey, beauty still lies in the eye of the beholder. So, what do you guys think?
