Kids these days are very vocal. Sometimes, you wonder as a parent where they got that from.
A lot of parents are quick to shut them up without actually allowing them to express themselves. I don’t agree that kids should be allowed to go scot-free when they say rude things but we should allow them to finish expressing themselves, then you can use that opportunity to correct and teach them the right things.
Kids are very expressive and innocent beings and so they say it as they feel it or see it. As a parent, don’t be ‘all knowing’ and try and learn from what they say at times.
WHEN YOU ALLOW YOUR KIDS EXPRESS THEMSELVES, YOU HELP DEVELOP THEIR SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE.
